MG Midget and Sprite General - Wisconsin drives

I wanted to do something for the folks coming to the 50th or just visiting our state. So I came up with this idea. Shirley and I have been discovering and driving many roads across the state for years. We are not much for the interstate highways with the same stores and restaurants at every stop. Instead we favor the interesting and unique. Here are some of them and we will be adding more. So come and enjoy the roads and the people!

I want to come from Terre Haute to outside of Madison in a day,probably Friday the 15th.

I'm thinking about 39 from Urbana thru Rockfort

Do you know this area, does anyone have a non interstate route that is do-able in a long day.

Phil, there are a couple interesting routes. I will see what I can do. I might not have photos of them though.

Tom.Thanks for that geat site. (Nice car too) I doubt that I will ever get to drive my mk3 Sprite on those lovely routes, but it was great to see them anyway. I was in The States for six weeks back in '86 and travelled all over your country on a tour bus and I always made sure I sat right up front with the driver to get the best of the scenery, and what scenery it was too. It was early Fall and the leaves were spectacular. I was rubber necking all day every day. Your pictures brought back memories of when we were in Wisconsin. Thanks again.
