MG Midget and Sprite General - Where's the best place to be Weber 45DCOE parts?
I need to buy some parts and jets for my 45DCOE Weber. I found this place who looked ok and were the cheapest but the email bounced. So wondered if anyone has dealt with them or knows of another good place. Fuel Systems Enterprises www.fuelsystem.co.uk/ I haven't had the Weber on my car for many years. I took the lid off to check it over and to my absolute horror it was completely empty. I must have stripped it and used the bits on something else. It's been that long I can't even remember where they went. So I need quite a bit including chokes. Any suggestions on where I should go? |

| Everything and every dealing I have had with Eurocarb has been fantastic, www.dellorto.co.uk. Not sure how much shipment works out to AU, but it's reasonable to France. |

| Just used them to order bits for my dellorto hope they come this week |

Thanks. Their prices are a bit dearer for the Weber parts but I've sent them my parts list and previous quote and we'll see how it goes. Any other suggestions? |

| No William I didn't. I'm buying a couple of complete sets of jets, em tubes, chokes, a kit and other bits. I've bought Weber bits locally before and know how it compares. Dellorto.co.uk did a good job of matching a price I already had so I've decided to go with them. Something completely different William. My car is back to metal and about to get a coat of paint. It hasn't been the original colour for many years and I'm unsure whether to go original. Original was Sapphire blue. I'm now thinking of gong this way but I'd like to see one in this colour first before deciding. I'm not having much luck finding a photo of one. Australian colours were different to the rest of the world so I need to find something in Aus. I found two listings on the Australian register but no luck with them. I also tried on the Aus forum but no luck there either. I don't suppose you have a nice archive of Aus Midget photos? A veeerrryyy long shot I know. |

| No pic. sorry Greg but There is an MGB for sale on car sales in NSW with a heap of pics if that helps at all just to see the colour I'm sure there used to be a Midget in Hobart that colour a few years back, maybee the Benett boys could help you out there or Craig Trenham You would catch a Benett at the Sandy Bay Sunday morning coffee meet at Lower Sandy Bay beach carpark Cheers |

That's the colour. Original duco on it too so I can be sure that is the correct colour. Looks nice, so you've sold me on Sapphire blue. but you shouldn't have directed me to Carsales because when I've already got one in bits it's definitely a place I shouldn't be looking at. |
