I have to admit, it does look ????? Without the rear shelve area...i think i like it, im just not sure yet....but i do love that front clip Prop

Prop, Can't wait for you to get into the cobra upgrade on your car Prop. I do like the London Bridge backdrop in his photo, clever. L.C.
Larry C '69 Midget
Im afraid a cobra upgrade is decades away That would be cool,,, a midget to look like a cobra and an actual cobra (kit of course)... Side by side Prop
Prop
No prop that would be dreadfull! each time I see a cobra I think "replica" that degrades the form of the cobra for me. An original cobra is superb it has the history and pedigry of the old world (ac ace) and a new world power plant. A replica is something someone has created who has not got enough respect for the orignal to just respect it but needs to own it.

"Cobra front and back end. " I could maybe stretch to the front, were I feeling charitable, but that sure is a funny looking Cobra back end! Does look like a nicely de-bumpered Spridget though. FRM

Love the look, hate the steering wheel. Something vintage would be better. TB
T Burston
I agree about the steering wheel, that thing would even be ugly on a homemade soap box derby car Prop

Have to say, I agree with Onno. A Spridget is not a cobra, and trying too hard to make it look like one, just makes it look silly. Would you try and make a cobra look like a spridget? Beauty is all in the eye of the beholder, and as we humans seem to find such variety in beauty, I have no doubt that there are plenty of people who probably would.

Omg...lawerance What a great idea... A midget to look like a cobra and a cobra to look like a midget.....NOW THAT im a fan of!!! Thats the true defination of eccentric Prop
Prop
Go for it then. Might cost you the value of the Cobra though. lol.
Lawrence Slater
Reminds me of the california ACE. http://www.calace.com
Trevor Jessie
The website says of the Ace kit,--- --- "is the perfect formula for resurrecting your wrecked or rusted MGB roadster." I suppose if the alternative is scrap it altogether, then why not? I prefer the look of an early mgb roadster more though.

Truly a fair weather car as it has no wipers. It's also missing a jacking hole plug. That's a cheap thing to replace so maybe the owner's cutting costs here and there. I didn't bother looking at the other pictures.
Clive Reddin
TB, That happens to be the original steering wheel for the car. It is rotated 180 degrees, so it looks odd, but it is correct for the car. David "not sayin' it's purty..." Lieb

Prop, there is some vague similarity between the front of a Midget and a Cobra, especially if you remove the bumper.
