MG Midget and Sprite General - Wanted - Scrap boot lid

Hi, I'm looking for a rusty or damaged boot lid that would otherwise be scrap. I want to experiment with the best place to attach something & I don't want to wreck a good panel in the process. So if anyone has one that meets the bill & is close to Ascot please get in touch.

Happy to collect & pay a small fee.

Alternatively I have a very good boot lid going spare which I'd part exchange if preferred. (Scrap lid & a little cash coming my way)

Shame you aren't here in Canada. I have just the item you need. It's actually a very good boot lid if anyone else happens to need one.

I,m sure I saw one when I was rooting through my scrap pile at the bottom of the garden the other day. I will have a look in the next couple of days - located between Buckingham and Milton Keynes if that helps. Dave 07875 177743

you could have mine, but I'm in aberdeen!

Internal frame is all rusted and falling apart at the hinge mounts. Going to save myself the effort and get a new fibre glass one for £60.

Thank you all for your offers so far. Mr Gibson, yours sounds like the most practical so far being closest but still some way away. I'll hang on for a bit to see if anything closer turns up but may be back if nothing does.
