MG Midget and Sprite General - Travelling to Midget 50 from the north west

Is anyone going to Midget 50 from the Merseyside / Cheshire area. I want to go but the family aren't interested. Looking for a good old road trip, a bit of camping and a few beers!!

I might be.
I don't mean I might be going - that bit is sorted, I've bought the ticket. I mean I might be coming down your way. Or I may go cross country and down the east. I tend not to plan these things more than a couple of days ahead.

It's not next weekend is it?

If you camp there then there's a campsite on the website and if you mention M50 then you'll get to park together

If you're hoping for B&B, then I should get it sorted soon if I was you - most places in Stamford itself are now fully booked and people are having to stay quite a bit out.

Traveling from Rucorn on Sunday morning, due to going to take that concert at MEN arena on Sat evening, (50,000-1 female-male) can hook up if interested, cheers Andrew

Looks like an early morning start on Sunday is favourite, possibly meeting at Knutsford(?) for the run down.
