MG Midget and Sprite General - The Land's End Trip

Since it wasn't on the page, and I really don't have time to go into the archive as the horses are starting to moan ....!

For those who expressed an interest - and got mobbed for money - I have the final figure that Nigel, Wendy and Ena raised on their Land's End to John O'Groats post Midget50 special!

It was a whooping £1500!!!!!!

This exceeded their original figure 3x - so, thanks to those of you who I know gave up beer money and other money and pocketsfull of money - it was all in a very good cause.

It was an amazing effort to raise this much money in what turned out to be such a very short time, after the cancellation of the other one.

To those of you who would have liked to have got involved - sorry - they were never given any information of those who had signed up before, so, it wasn't possible to contact the names.

For fair warning - since they have an MGB as well - they are threatening another run next year - so - get your money out - you know you want to :)

I think you should only comment on the facts that you know Rach and information you have no idea about is fundementally none of your business.

When I was unable to go on this journey due to impending redundancy and work related issues Nigel and Wendy insisted the would still do the trip (along with Ena). We discussed this and they id a terrific job and well done to them.

Shame that there are people who will bring congratulatory threads into an argument, so please let's keep it vaguely on track - after all - the charity is the one who benefits and thats all that matters isn't it?
