http://www.amazon.co.uk/Original-Sprite-Midget-Restorers-Austin-Healey/dp/1906133336/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1297204956&sr=1-4 Looks like Terry's book is being reprinted on 1 June. It is listed as available for preorder on Amazon UK and Canada already. If anyone is hording copies thinking they will be worth their weight in gold......

This is terrific news. I've been wanting a copy of this book for ages, but was never going to pay £100 for it.
Mike Howlett
I managed to get one from amazon for about 13 quid 4 years ago. Had to look twice when I saw how much they were now!!
Rob Armstrong
I'd better put mine on fleabay while I can! ;o)
Dave O'Neill 2
excellent thanks for that my order is in and I'll get a bit of cash back off by using my debit/credit through TopCashBack Help yourself to this code to find out - http://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/member81113939338/?s=2

I missed that trick Nigel. I often use the Top Cashback site but didn't think that Amazon played ball with cashbacks. Hoping to earn yourself some cash at £5 per referral then? !!
Guy
Hi Guy, no it's £2.50 and it goes to the Mrs, it's her account I only remembered because I was telling someone about it today I've been told off by SWMBO for never having used it before She showed me you have to go to TopCashBack site first then whatever web site Amazon is linked from TopCashBack so I assume they must pay something out Using a charity search facility generates a few pence per click from certain sites, doesn't sound a lot but it soon mounts up hence Google billions Why give more money to Google and the likes they have enough - keep it yourself or if searching let charites have a good slice of it In 3 and a half years with just a handful of people using it the proportion raised for charity from this search page is nearly £1,000, just a handful of people See here for charity search - http://www.sportingbears.org.uk/SBMC_Search.htm

Just rattling your cage, Nigel. I thought you would at least be buying Spridget parts with the earnings! Better pinch half the takings from your better half as the referral bonus is currently upped to £5 a time, not £2.50! I have been using that site for about 2 years now, and earned over £500, although I have never benefited from the referral bonus yet!
Guy
No problem Guy My friend was going on about this Martin Whatsit money saving website but didn't know about TopCashBack, I really like things like this Same as the charity search page most people think there's catch, same way they'll pay £,000s more for a car from a dealer than the same car from a private seller! SWMBO has only earnt £3.06 so far as she's not long started but I've just seen Halford at 4.04% so I lost her £6, I must remeber to use it when getting car and house insurance soon that'll keep her happy - she has weekends away on the Tesco points, then we're both happy, quality time apart the secret to a long relationship oh, yeah, £2.50 it said on the home page
Nigel Atkins
So this is a re reprint then?
HALL JOHN
yes
Nigel Atkins
The publishers contacted me today, I should have more details soon but there will be at least one copy to give away in May's Mascot, I've just got to think of a suitable competition.
Gary & Gaps
Easy - to the person that can prove they paid the least, and still have, a s/h copy from the last couple of years profiteering on old books - remind anyone of profiteering on other things!
Nigel Atkins
<<profiteering on old books - remind anyone of profiteering on other things! >> You would rather sell something for less than its true value and let the person you sold it to make a profit?
Dave O'Neill 2
I have a hard-copy with dustcover and signed by the author. Must be worth a fortune then. But what if Terry cant sign any others anymore? That would defenetly push up the price of my book... I can retire in Scotland and do nothing else but drive the midget all day. Terry, sorry mate but you being alive stops me from retiring. Allright then, who's got a gun, lives in Wiltshire and wanna make a couple pounds? LOL!!!
Arie de Best
I belive that everybody who had their car featured in the book received a complimentary copy signed by the author,I still have mine and will not be selling it!
IAN WILSON
Signed copies (I believe) will be available and with free postage too. For those of you who receive Mascot there will be a flyer in May and June's Magazine. There will be a competition (which will be judged by Terry) to win a signed copy . I assume that there will be similar flyers distributed in Safety fast and RevCounter too.
Gary & Gaps
"Signed copies (I believe) will be available and with free postage too" Great... There goes my cunning plan... :( Oops, now how do I call of the hitman? ;)
Arie de Best
There goes my retirement plan down the tubes:o( And I made the mistake of telling she who must be obeyed that my original mint signed hardback copy would be worth around £100 !! Methinks I'd better keep my head down........
Geoff Mears
Wouldn't build my hopes up of retirement on signed copies? Here is for sale a signed copy by prolific author Maeve Binchy http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Silver-Wedding-Maeve-Binchy-SIGNED-COPY-/270704180225?pt=Fiction&hash=item3f0739fc01 When I looked with a couple of hours to run no bids had been placed. So in a few years time you my get? A Cadburys Flake?
