Sorry I couldn't make it yesterday Tim. We had free tickets for various Northumbrian attractions and wanted to give Tanya's new MX5 a run out, so we ended up in Rothbury at Cragside House then had a bit of a blat westwards.

Next time perhaps!

Loves how people rub it in to those of us who haven't got our cars at the moment :(!!!!

Mind you, I did get to drive one that gives me way more of a inane grin - and overtook quite a few other, lesser sports cars ... midgets, mx5s, toyotas, blah blah - but then - no-one has guessed what I've been driving the last couple of weeks :P

Tim,

Once again, thanks for sharing, always enjoy your event photo's. The weather is finally starting to warm a bit here in the Mid-Atlantic States, and will try to get number one son to assist removing the fixed roof before next weekend.

Rach, wouldn't be a farm tractor would it?

Anyone else concerned that we haven't heard from Prop in the past few days?

Larry, I thought I recognised Prop saturday-eve on FOXnews.
He was in Libya to start negotiations with Kadaffi.
Hi kicked off by telling about his engine... supposingly the meeting is still on...
Kadaffi is a bout to break mentaly... LOL!!!
Arie de Best

Arie,

LOL. While Lybia may be a good possibility, I was more concerned about the weather. Prop may have been up Wisconsin looking for Midget 50 campsites.

Thank God Summer is over, and we can all breathe again. A nice mid twenties now, and (reasonably) cool at night. Still no real rain though.
Shawn

no summer here yet...witness the view of the CN Tower at the moment.

RUS(59SPRITE)

If not summer here at least a very nice spring day this past weekend. Took the Midget out for a little jaunt of around 240 miles and it was a blast. Took this photo of some of the others on one of the only curves on the road.

Hmm, reminiscent of the T-shirt they used to sell at the Tail of the Dragon:
Tail of the Dragon: 11 Miles 318 Turns
Illinois: 318 Miles 11 Turns
