MG Midget and Sprite General - spridget photos from Silverstone Classic

Sarah really enjoyed driving the new F1 circuit at Silverstone in her Sprite on Sunday - plus it's the first decent length trip we've done it since purchase and it behaved impeccably :O) Hurrah!

Here are some pics of lots of spridgets on the F1 circuit:

Here is a seperate set of the Classic more generally:

Thanks again for sharing Tim. Especially like the shot of the BSA Bantam!

Nice photos.

Don't stone me, but my pick is the Daimler Dart. What an absolute Classic!!!

Cool :)

Enjoying all the photos from Silverstone Classic around and about - and one or two still with their Midget50 boards on!

My Dad used to have a Bantam, Larry - I believe he used it "to take my mother courting" in the late fifties, so I have a bit of a soft spot for them. The last one I saw was about 5 years ago in a motorcycle museum.

The Dart apparently had followed us down the A5 from our accomodation to the circuit earlier that morning, and they pulled alongside to tell us, just after I took that photo!

The first bike I rode was a Bantam 125cc with a solid rear suspension and a sprung saddle. My Dad used to go to work on it. He later upgraded to a newer model with the plunger rear suspension. He always wore a long coat, welly boots and a flat cap while riding. Those were the days!

The one in the photo is a rather sophisticated later model with a rear swinging arm - woo, never had one of those.

Fantastic, so many Spridgets at one place. Love that Birdcage Maserati.
