I DO hope that I'll get to drive this car before it sells... Mark.
M T Boldry
Mark, If you bought it you could drive it whenever you like!
Guy
I was interested until I read that someone had raced it... with all the usual boy-racer tricks of big carbs with no air-filter and non-standard bonnet. Non-standard paint too. At least with your Midget, Neil, you know no-one's mucked about with it. ;) A

There are racers - and then there are RACERS! Would be so nice if this car could stay in the country - sort of a shame that there's no-one in the AHC side who would take it on and save it for their history .....

Ha Ha Ha. I want one. Perhaps if I put the house on the market! Although for that money I would add 20k and buy this instead: http://www.williamianson.com/cars-for-sale/cardetails.php?id=15 Although it has sold now!!!
Neil K
Dead right Neil, There are lots of better cars out there for £79K much as I love my Midget and my previous Frogeye, that's a lot of money, I could sell my house also, but I don't know how my wife and I and five dogs would sleep in it! Jack.

It's an entry ticket into on track events like Sebring, Classic Le Mans, Silverstone, Classic Goodwood, perhaps even Pebble Beach which a standard exotic like the Aston won't get you access to. So if participating in this kind of event is your thing, it actually represents very good value. Try pricing up some of the current costs of other marques which competed at Sebring etc.

For its history, plus all the work that has gone into it, it is certainly not an unreasonable amount to expect.
Guy
or buy my works Sebring Sprite (rep) everything works never raced nor rallied. never used and abused by countless race drivers. entry in to Midget 50 and several kit car shows
A Anstead
I wonder how much, measured by weight, of EAO is actually original?
David Smith
Checked last nights lotto ticket, and it's safe to say I will not bid on this one. But, sure is a good looking car. Regards, Larry C.
