MG Midget and Sprite General - Prop's long lost relative...

he must be warned before Prop contacts him :)

Well, he sure is well prepared for road assistance, by the looks of all the shields on the back. There's even a dutch one (WW, in the middle)
Alex G Matla

this gives Prop something else to aim for :)

I think Prop's great

(can't believe he's only 47 tho') :)

I think gold Rostyles look good with the green paint.

The UK number plate on the bootlid once belonged to a green VW Scirocco.

how could you read the UK plate(?) - I need new eyes

Wow. Bet that one could tell some interesting stories! Looks like it was well loved. It was certainly well accessorized!

Yeah, but this one runs, and evidently has for many years, bar a short rest!
Can anybody ID what the pickup truck was derived from? I've seen that windscreen/roof line recently, maybe an Austin right around WW2.

Dang, the cockpit has more dials and switches than a 747. Cheers - Dave

Hahaha....Now that is awsome... i wish i could have meet this guy... You have to hand it to the old guy, a hand drawn wiring diagram on his death bed....now thats dedication to the cause

What really looked cool was the center concel armrest and the shifter boot

FRM, looks like a Mercedes grill in the first photo.

FRM, and Bill,

The side profile, and scale based on the proximity to the Midget, make me think it's a "Datson" truck chassis and bed with a Mercedes front grafted on. Keeping in mind this may very well be a long lost relative of Prop's, we could assume this would have been a reasonable modification for someone with a cutting torch, welder, and damaged Mercedes behind the shed.

Anyone else notice the 115V power outlets where the glovebox once was?

That pickup looked like a Daimler to me.

With a close look I see what appears to be a rear door line on the pick-up bed. I think it is a four door chopped up and glued together.
