Nah...head is still at the machine shop.

What can you do while waiting for machime shop to finish in 8 weeks

Buy the machinery off ebay to diy
Build a new shop
Paint the car
Design a new camshaft
Get really bored and piss people off on bbs
Come up with a new bbs game called what can you do while waitimg on a machine shop

I go to a guy that will take the head in in the morning then ring me at two o'clock to come and take it out of his busy workshop, "I need the space, plenty more work coming in this afternoon".

(I love the smell of suds and machinery in his 'shop)

Maybe you should talk to these idiots about a better business plan.

Machining is finished, it's the powder coating that's taking so long.

It's probably the extra machining in the combustion chambers so the thermocouples can be installed in each cylinder. While you're waiting you can modify that space shuttle console so the gauges have somewhere to go. :)

Yeah ...its kind of my mistake... I pissed off space boy, and now reaping the results

2 people you never want to piss off the guy cooking your burger and the guy doing the machine work on your cly head

So the shop manager is going to put the screws to him next week to work on mine...but ive got a gut feeling spaceboy has his days numbered at the shop... So it may be a few more weeks

I certianly appericate that...luckly all i need is a fast valve and seat re grind... And a very light resurface

So if worse case senerio... I can all ways buy one of the many antuque valve and seat grinders off ebay for $200 and do them myself....which im half tempted to do...then i can do all my own valve and seats from now on... And not have to wait on a shop
And deal with arrogant idiots like spaceboy...the resurrected jesus christ of the drill press...ALL HAIL "THE SPACE BOY"
