| Congrats I think we now know where the shipping cost comes into play...thats alot of card board....hahaha So are you going to bolt it or weld it in ? On mine...which turned into a thread of contintion...hahaha I used along plate of 3/16 plate steel instead of fender washers under the 2 legs under the shelve Btw....its NOT a sunday afternoon project....plan several days ....its not as easy as it looks to install....unless your welding it into place, that might be fairly easy Prop |

| Willy, Good to hear some flights have resumed down in Tasmania, and your bar came through without issue. Post a few photo's after you get it installed. Regards, Larry C. |

| Larry/Prop The bar fitted up great - a top unit We are very happy with the build quality / It took a fair while to fit up with all the brackets etc and reworking the trim etc but well worth the effort More than happy that we went this way Thanks for your interest

| Gez willy, That is really nice, im liking that, I havent seen one like that with the rear legs in that configeration. That is the juice....that was worth every dime in shipping cost. Prop |

| Willy, Looks good, and very stout. Much heavier than the one we have on our Midget. Was the bar cover an extra from the supplier, or a custom build locally? Regards, Larry C,

| Wow willy, your midget sure has a lot of mx5 stuff on it. ;) I defently like the rollbar, not one ive seen before. If you dont mind ive saved the photo's in my "rollbar-map" as insparation for my rolbar project somewhere in the future. |

| Arie Not a midget and never pretended to be, and yes it is an MX5 and a rare beast as well. It's an Australian SP model. Mazda Au.supposedly built approx 200 of them but in reality it is closer to 100. Records are very sketchy to say the least but they are few and far between. My son found this one tucked away in a bloke's shed unregistered and in as new condition. I'm starting to worry about him, every time he gets in the thing he gets this funny grin on his dial. I've seen it before on midget owners faces (like in Prop's video clip) They were/are a turbo car built by Mazda motorsport in Aust. more or less to test the market for a turbo version of the MX5 Later on Mazda(Japan) released their less modified version through the dealerships, which became the official turbo MX5 Still can't believe the quality of the rollbar, it's good, really good. The bar cover was an option from the manufacturer of the bar. It came with a "C" shaped moulded impact pad that fits along the front edge of the main hoop and the cover holds it all in place. rain hail wind, more rain wind It must be winter cheers Willy |

| Yes, Hard Dog in Bethania, NC turns out a quality product for the Miata both beautiful and functional. Their trailer hitch is also a work of art and highly functional. In case you are interested, the "hard dog" in the name was an Australian Shepherd. David "I love the way the hitch bolts to the holes used for the shipping hooks" Lieb |
