There's a couple of cars being built with the GTO bodies here in Aus at the moment.

That's Ken's GTO based near Leyburn - he is an ambulance driver in the Dales and regularly features in the air ambulance programme on the BBC (not flying, but crops up at RTA's frequently) - you can identify him by his impressive moustache! He also has an original bodied white sprite in very original nick.

The other one is based in York.

We had both GTO's together on a MASC track day at Croft a few years ago:

AndrewF,
I'm sure they'd be interested in any info, you can email info@wwah.org

Mothy,
yes Ken's moustache is certainly noticeable, I wished I'd known he was a TV star on that type of show as that might have impressed the ladies rather than them thinking I was boring the poor guy to death (which I probably was I don't function well in that much heat)

I heard it coming up the hill and we breifly saw it too, my friend said it was an Ashley (I think) but I saw a glimse of the boot so disageed - not often I'm right

Nice car, nice bloke

I don't think he's a "featured" star, but he does crop up remarkably frequently as one of the ground crew staff who are often first on scene at RTA's in that part of the Dales.

If you want to see a bit more of these cars you can look at the Lenham Spridget Register site

http://www.lenhamspridgetregister.com/

Dave Matthews is aware of the new Oz GTOs and I hope to have some info and photos of these from Colin Dodds on the site soon.
