MG Midget and Sprite General - Morris Oxford, not Midget
| Hi, A friend here in France bought a Morris Minor 1953 with 1500 engine. Do ou know where to buy parts and if there are specialists in UK for this car? Laurent |

| ETA: just noticed title - do you mean Oxford or Minor (Oxford would have B engine and share parts with other cars) Laurent, there are loads of places to get Morris Minor parts including the usual bigger as many parts are common with other cars, Google search will turn up many but usually a Minor would have an A-Series engine similar to Spridgets so the 1500 could be any other engine out of many cars - a photo would be neede to help identify the engine or engine/block/head number |

| A '53 Oxford (MO) would have had a 1500 sidevalve engine. My Dad had two of them, back in the day. Here's one...

| A 1953 minor could have a side valve 918cc engine or an OHV 803cc engine depending how early in the year it was produced. |
