MG Midget and Sprite General - Midget50
Well - it's now bearing down faster than ever - and ticket sales are going crazy, so, don't forget that you need to book soon if you want your pack sent out, and to avoid the increased charges. There are people from several countries coming, probably the furthest is Australia, from where a handful of people are coming - and no, not just Mark and Anita! The speakers are booked and writing like mad, and there will be an interesting book launch and signing, so, don't forget your pennies for that as well. Tradestands are booked in, varying from the small autojumble (still a few pitches available for garage clear outs ...) through Kim's Magic Midget (must discuss what I'm needing with you Kim ;)!) to Frontline who are bringing a couple of cars with them to display their products. Picnics sound rather yummy, and, even I'm thinking of avoiding the idea of adding weight by buying one, in their fetching Burghley bag which will provide another nice keepsake. Accomodation is now very limited in choice - even the campsite has been fully booked out. Late bookers could be charged excessive rates for stables and other Biblical offerings ;) Please could everyone who has/is organising a road run - even if it is an anti-social "ours only" one - let us know so that we have an idea of what time/how many will be arriving in convoys and this will assist Bill in his super plans - and marshalls. There will be regular updates on the news page of the website (www.midget50.com) as time rapidly passes by. For those of you sitting next to your doormats as the postie arrives, the packs have been started, but, as I've said before, they will be sent out in plenty of time for you to leave, but, not enough time for them to be lost - so please DO NOT PANIC!!!!!!!

TJ Prime
Thanks Tim - I don't know any other sites around so won't recommend any others I'm afraid. Same goes with hotels! All I can say now is that if you want accommodation - you'd best hurry!!!!

Is it more expensive if you just turn up and pay? What is in the pack? Ta Simon
Simon Taylor
Yes, as with most events, it is more expensive on the day. The pack includes the rally board for entry, the balloons which are taking so much interest on another thread, and other things which you will miss out on should you leave it too late! Plus, you miss out on all the excitement of a simulated Christmas morning by looking forward to the arrival of your package with anticipation :)
