MG Midget and Sprite General - Midget 50 in Classic and Sportscar
Just been reading the feature, and looking at the wonderful pictures of all the midgets. Sadly I couldn't get there - family commitments. One thing occurs to me - does anybody else run their cars without windscreens? I have a couple of Brooklands aeros on mine.

Excellent article most of the other magazines have just reproduced boilerplate prose from their own records. eddie

Still waiting for the next issue... Glad they wrote up the event! Back before Midget 50, I e-mailed C&SC Editor Alastair Clements to let them know about it, and received a nice reply. Good to know they covered it, and I look forward to reading the article. -:G:-

Hey, I was chuffed to see myself in there with my Midget. Anthony Cutler is with me too. We're the ones standing with the brolley. I'm the one on the right.

Yes, at only 6-feet I'm the short one in the pic. Neil's KMidget is very, very tidy - for those who haven't seen it - and rapid. Jon Pressnell did a top job in driving rain - a real enthusiast and generally nice bloke. Will pay more attention to his features in future. I'm off to buy a copy this lunchtime. Nice to be reminded of a great day out. A

Excellent article. Car looks good Neil. I even managed to pick out my own car in the main picture, but I won't bore you. Some lovely E types in other parts of the mag too. Bernie.
