MG Midget and Sprite General - MG and Triumph Show this weekend
http://www.classicshows.org/donington161011.php Is anyone considering going this weekend. Has anyone even heard about it?

I'm very likely to be going, but it's not set in stone as yet. Ian Jones from N.W. MASC is going with his mate who is a Triumph owner. According to Ian the hall is divided into two parts, one for Triumph related stuff and one for M.G. stuff and your ticket admits you to both sections. It looks to have been well promoted and all the trade stand and club spaces are sold out so it could be well worth attending. Bernie.

The Notts / Derby Group of MASC are having a stand at this show organised by Ian Cooke showing 4 Spridgets - They will have free copies of our magazine MASCOT to give away and a "show" offer of membership on the day for only £27.50 with no joining fee

Well. I went and it was OK I guess. I don't know what I was expecting really. It seemed to be reasonably well attended and on the MASC stand there was a lovely "SuperSprite" AKA an Isle of Wight Frogeye with a K series engine. The owner, who's name, to my shame I forgot, said he's had it for ten years, but it looked like it had come straight from the factory. Absolutely stunning, with fantastic panel fit and I bet it can go a bit too. I want one! Anyway. I'd go again, as I think it will be bigger next year. There were a few empty spaces, so they could get more traders and cars in. Bernie.

I wasn't able to make it but I understand that congratulations are in order the Notts/Derby area of Masc as they picked up the best club stand award. Perhaps next year.
