MG Midget and Sprite General - Made it back ok

I have just returned from my trip to France in the Midget. 370 miles there and another 370 miles back.
The only problems were that the windscreen leaked so much in the rain on the drive over that I had to take the carpets out to dry them when I got there, a minor adjustment to the mixture and a pint of oil in the engine.
Averaged around 40 mpg (thanks to the hif44) with some very spirited driving on the way home as we were late for our crossing, touching 90 for quite some time and not going much below 80 for a good hour and a half.
We really enjoyed the trip and got a few thumbs up and admiring(?) glances from other drivers and quite a few people stopping to say they had one in their youth.
