MG Midget and Sprite General - It's good news week, --- at last

This was meant to be here on General, so ignore the one on technical.

An old names returns to the fore, and about time too. :)

I've even been thinking of getting one again myself.

Dig out the leathers and colours boys.

Me too. sold mine in 1992. Stupid moment when I thought I wanted 2.5K more than my bonny.

If i was to ever do w motor cycle it would be a ..

BSA...from the mid 19... 40s to mid 60s era...the kind with the external pushrods, hand shift and kick start

Sometimes I do the stupidest of things.

Got it for less than £700, and sold it for £2500. Shoulda woulda coulda kept it. So now I think before I snuff it, I should remedy the mistake with one of the current ones.

A friend just showed me the Triumph brochure. Some nice bikes in there. He's condidering the Thruxton and what a great looking bike.

It is nice to see real motorcycles once more and not CROTCH ROCKETS.
My first new one was a 1950 Triumph Tiger 500 C. It apparently was the first one with alloy barrels.. I had a ton of problems with it as it ran like a dog.The 47 Speedtwin I still had was much faster.
Finally the dealer installed the old cast iton barrels and old style camshafts. Then it was a real machine.

That thruxton looks better than sex. LOL.
