It was an abscess in the floor of my mouth that got outta hand. The consultant reconned if I got there 2 hours later I woulda been toast. Was rushed straight into theatre when I got to hospital and had an emergency trachy under "local" (spray) anaesthetic the next day.
Havin a break now.

That happened to a realitive... had a bad tooth... didnt think about it much... several days later his face looked like the elephant man.. went to the denist .. didnt even make it to the exam room and they had an ambulance on the way.... they said he would have been dead with in 24 hours had he not come in when he did.. still hard not to belive most people wouldnt come in when they look in the mirror

Enjoy the fishing and good luck diegesting the oat meal while wishing you could eat the fish... lol.

Am now almost completely recovered, just the hole in my chest to finish healing.
I have left Wales as we went to live with Sal's Mum.
We live between Market Bosworth and Kirkby Mallory - lovely sound of racing some weekends.
Got a job in a farm shop butchering free-range Tamworth piggy-wigs.
