MG Midget and Sprite General - Hooray! New metal
Hi guys, I just wanted to say I finally got a welder this week and started on getting the passanger side floor welded in. Don't really have much else to say or any point to this, just wanted to share this as I feel so chuffed that after 9 months of dismantling and hacking away at the car some new metal is being put on to it! Phew! :-) Not posting any pics yet as my welding is still a bit 'interesting'. Ha ha! Cheers guys Malcolm

Malcolm, A little every day will get it done. Years ago when I did similar to our MGB I would go out to the garage to do something every day, even to just sort and tend to little details. Good luck, and keep us posted. Regards, Larry C.

The other advice would be to focus on just one small part at a time so that you can see progress and success each day you work on it - and claim your reward! Beer makes a good prise! I have been working on mine for ages and progress on the whole thing has been drearily slow at times - but piece by piece it is gradually coming together.
