looks like japan drew drew the short straw this time, Is it just me, or are these things just getting more and more common and bigger in size.

for crying out loud an 8.8 is just insane, Ill tell ya, with the last quake being 100 years ago in missouri that actualy reversed the flow of the missipppi river. it does make me sigh with relief that it wasnt here, yet the next thought is wil the next one be here.

To those along the shores of the the pacific rim, good luck with that 20 foot wave coming at you. in the next few hours.

Im really hoping thats just a car parking lot of cars (as in no one in the cars) that are floating down the river... and not a busy street of cars that have gotten swept away.

incredable... now there saying the tsunumi watch could last up to 24 hours... maybe thats actually a good thing, at least they know its comming and can take evasive action.

is a huge freaken wave of mud and fire just rolling across the land taking out houses, farm field and boats roads and everything...INSANE

I have been watching it too Prop, we have friends in Japan, luckily they are not in the primarily affected areas.
I've just heard from one of them via facebook and she and hers are fine, but other friends aren't on facebook and that seems to be the only major means of communication that is working! Just hope they are OK!!!

just watching the news on this...

the Quake size has now been upgraded from 8.9 to 9.0

The earth actually wobbled on its axis and the planet lost 8.5 microns of a secound.

Japan "MOVED 8 feet" from its former gps location... good luck with your GPS garmin updating that change

I just cant seem to turn away from the news, its just so wrenching, I cant even imagine living the life they are experiancing

It just seems a higher force is at work... no wonder there where human virgin sacrfices just 100 years ago to apiese the gods

9.0 earth quake
a massive tsunimi
a huge volcano to the south is in full eruption
3 nuke plants melt downs....who knows how much radiation there being subjected to
No gasoline reserves
and now the desimation of there economic and financil markets

I just dont know how a person picks themselfs up and begins the new day with so much uncertianty. after so much crisis in just a matter of a few hours
