MG Midget and Sprite General - FrogEyed Midget going to Wisconsin Midget 50th

My son and I are about to take the Epic Road Trip from western Washington State out to Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin and Road America for the Midget 50th.

I was wondering what to do to keep those at home up to date on our travels and then found that someone else was going to do their travel on blogspot.
This seemed perfect to me, so I started up my very first Blog!
Strange considering I've been in technology and IT for about the past 33 years that this is the very first time I've had my own blog.

So - anyway if anyone wants to follow along and see what we see etc here it is:

http://frogeyemidget.blogspot.com/

I've heard from some that it's hard to join in and comment and all, and yet others seem to have an easy time of it.

We leave early tomorrow (Friday July 15 @ 07:00 Pacific Time Zone).
Our first night is in Missoula Montana.

good luck and lot's of fun on your trip!

Have a safe trip and good luck. I'm lucky in that I live only 2 hours away and am already here, working on a couple cars for the race this weekend. Looking forward to seeing you here!

I posted on your blog, thanks for the link, started my own blog for my adventures there. See you in Elkhart Lake.

Hi Bill, you must be KC Midget then.
Thanks! See you there!

We're on our way, and having a blast, except for a few minor problems (no fuel delivery). Reading about Midget 50-UK just got me even more excited about Midget 50-US. Bill Y., what is the URL for your blog? You can check out our trip at: www.midgettravels.blogspot.com
See 'ya soon.

Rick -

Just out of curiosity, what's your Frogmidget's serial? My '78 was built about the same time as yours, and it might be interesting to compare numbers. Mine's 201020.

Cheers, and have a good time at RA,

Jack, my blog is at http://kcmidget.blogspot.com/
Gryf, miss you this year.

>>> Gryf, miss you this year. <<<

The feeling is mutual. :-(

But real life discouraged my attendance at Midget 50 - my temp gauge is nearing the red even on temperate days, and there's still that broken spring. I have plans for fixing both problems, but will probably not attack anything until the fall, when the weather cools a bit. Even though I stuck an air conditioner in the garage, it's too hot to drive, IMHO.
