MG Midget and Sprite General - Frogeye radius arms
My Frogeye recently started making a clunking noise on turns and after an inspection, I found that the bushings in my radius arms had given out. I replaced my original ones about 6 years ago with these. They've got about 30,000 miles on them. I have a couple of questions. Has anyone had similar deterioration and are the rose jointed radius arm options likely to last longer and give better service? I don't race or do any other competitive driving outside the occasional "I can take these turns faster than you". Since I have to replace the bushing, any opinions, comments or observations on my choices would be greatly appreciated.

Rose jointed will be noisier, wont last 30k miles, my suggestion is probably the same as most here - polyurethane bushes

Additionally, unless they are booted, rose joints will suffer rapid degradation from water/salt/general crap ingress on a road car. I would suggest polybushing or nylatron (if you can accept the extra harshness of nylatron).

So the rose jointed ones are pretty much for racing. Any suggestions as to where I might obtain those bushings with polyurethane?
