| Saw this article on Yahoo news. The last of a great generation that fought in the "War to end all wars". I think a memorial in D.C. would be nice, but we have a great memorial to WWI here in K.C. with a museum that rivals if not is size but in quality of exibits the Imperial War Museum as far as WWI history. http://www.theworldwar.org/s/110/new/index.aspx?sid=110&gid=1&pgid=1113 If any of you ever get out this way it's worth a visit. Give me a call and I'd be glad to go along for another visit myself. |

| OH ... NO freaken way!!! What a loss, I only heard of him and his claim to fame about 2 years ago... what a cool old Koager, No doult those that where fornante to have meet him (sadly Im not one em) will have had a great 1st hand account to history of not just the story of a man, but of a outdated forgoten time in american history we all look back on with reverance, and secretly wonder was that our greatest moment as a nation.
