MG Midget and Sprite General - four point harness rear fitting

I've decided to scrap my three point harness and replaced it with a four point harness which straps to the specific strapping points on my roll cage. The reason for this is that they would be mounted higher at the rear than my current 3 point harness which is bilted to the rear floor.
This will be a much stronger mounting point which will not compact my spine in the event of a roll or sudden stop.
I'm aware of the pros and cons of mounting the harness to the cage regarding what happens if the cage were to move, but I feel that this is still a safer option than my current set up.
My question is, exactly what is the correct method of of looping and securing the two straps around the rear horizontal bar?
under and over or visa versa? around the thickest part of the bar or just to the thinner welded on buts above?
Any guidance greatly appreciated.

I'm glad you found that - it's a bu99er to describe!

It was hard enough asking the question.
I've had a try out on my desk at work (tubular construction) and it seems very straight forward.

I know you're all a bit liberated in Camden but tying yourself to your desk with webbing straps is just kinky!

I thought that was SOP in Camden
