MG Midget and Sprite General - Footwell Floors
I'm recarpeting my '72 Midget with some old style Mercedes wool loop carpet. This stuff is seriously tough. Anyway, the drivers side floorboaord is recessed arounnd the frame, and the passengers side is raised. The metal is solid, should I leave it or try and jack the drivers side floor back up? I guess another altenative would be to fasten a 1/4 inch flat plate. Phil 'cluess, not carpetless'

mine's lower as well - i guess it's to help put your feet in. If mine was flat I wouldn't be able to drive it as my feet would be too 'tall' gotta be tough in the bottom of there - i've gone through 3 carpets pieces in there now with my heels... probably shouldn't drive in stilettos...... :p

Yeah Rob - stillettos are meant to be the most dangerous shoes to drive in - apart from wellies - and I'm STILL trying to take my wellies out of my footwell ...... :)
