MG Midget and Sprite General - Early Frog pictures

Quiet afternoon in hot office. Inspired by the Dyrham Park thread, a bit of surfing 'cos my dad competed there. Came up with this

http://frogeye.smugmug.com/Mk1SpritesFrogeye/Mk1-Sprites-Frogeye-900-999/Mk1-Sprites-reg-900-999/16536408_tXv3N/1/1245041123_DqNiZ#1245041123_DqNiZ

The first car, 900JPE, is my dad sprinting at I think Castle Combe. I was too young to remember it, but I have seen the photo in the family archive. He also used to run at Trengwainton in west(?) Cornwall. I vaguely remember the rhododendron bushes. There's also a somewhat earthy story related him competing there.

Given the original is AFAIK in my mum's loft, how did the archivist get it? Does anyone on here look after the site?

Sorry no real point to this thread other than my current Midgetless state goes against the grain.

Yes Max, I look after the site and it may well have appeared in a period magazine. I'll see if I can check back to where it came from.

Ah, the fog clears. I may have some more old pics if you're interested?

PS How about Mk2 Sprite 396JPO? My first car...

I'd love to see any old frog images.
I will leave the task of collating Mk11 information to someone else.
