MG Midget and Sprite General - Door caps

Does anyone know where to buy the mouldings which run along the top of the doors?
I can't seem to find the piece anywhere, MGOC mention it but only sell the vinyl covering.

Would suggest you get along to MG Live at Silverstone this coming weekend as there is bound to be a trader there who will have some old ones which you can refurb.

I have a pair of caps from what I believe to be a 1500 midget but without the vinyl covering.

They are for a 1500.
What do the caps look like without the vinyl covering? I have re-covered the padded crash rail, are they basically the same?
Part of the problem is that I dont know what i'm really looking for. I bought the car minus all interior.

I am a Frogeye man so dont ask me Q's on 1500s. The cappings are alloy.Came to me with a load of 1500 stuff but no trim. Terry Horlers book "Original Sprite & Midget", which is in reprint, will show you how a 1500 cockpit should be.
