MG Midget and Sprite General - Classic Le Mans 2012 (NMC ish)

Classic Le Mans 2012 all booked up including driving the circuit on the Sat am. Staying at Hunandieres site again. Can't wait. Anyone else going?

Possibly if I can get the time to do both the 24 hours and the classic. The 24 hours is always my priority.

Did the classic once though it was great to experiance it once (and i encourage all to do so) I won't go again.
There are to many other nice classic race weekends and not enough time and money to see them all.

May I also encourage anyone to go to:

I'll probably be there, since I'm an ACO member, and hopefully in the midget, but I'm hatching plans for some work over winter and last time I took it to pieces, it took me years to get it back together :(

Another +1 for the Circuit des Remparts - I went for the first time this year, (and bumped into Onno) and it's a smashing weekend.

This is my fourth CLM. I love it. Have done the Circuit des Ramparts which was fantastic and involved a round trip of some 2000 miles over a long weekend!! Did Silverstone Classic this year and loved it and just done the Revival again. Awesome. Plan on doing the 6 Hrs next Sept. Just the Ring to sort out!!! Can't get enough of it.

Can you email me with details of who you booked it through and how much per person or per car as applicable.
Camped at Maison Blanc last time it was terrible one toilet block for about 5000 campers. The first time I went used MG owners club travel and camped at Tetra Rouge which was very good but a lot more expensive.

Neil, im booked at Hunandieres site too.
Coming over (friday eve) with 4 cars and 8 dutchies.
1 Jaguar D-type, 1 Jaguar Etype and 1 4.3ltr V8 mgb-gt, so nothing really the Kmidget cant handle ... in corners(might be eaten alive on straights/motorway tho) :)
Im still thinking about to go on track or not...

Tarquin and Andy Barras are comming too with their mates in a mini, capri and caterham.
But you know the english, theyll probably be sunburned to the bone and drunk all the time and dont see any of the races. LOL!!

Check with Andrew or Richard from Travel-destination and see if they can place your tent near ours(if you dont mind being near us)



Btw Neil, can you please bring back my Lilly Allen blow-up doll you borrowed from me at Silverstone Classic?

No No No, I loves her. She's fantastic. She never argues and never says no!!!! Have you heard the Lily Alen track "It's not fair". Well she's not singing about me!!! Ha Ha.
I'll give Andrew a ring. I had a good chat with him today.
I've booked the track for the Saturday morning. If you are going to do it you must book asap as space is limited (or have I been duped???)
My friend Tony has booked with his 911T but at the mo he is stuck on Maison Blanche but hopes to move over to H. You met Tony at the Silverstone Classic. Looks like Ricky Gervais now!!!
Can't wait.

I am going but also visiting the GP Historic de Bressiure on 1st July - looks like a similar event to Angouleme.

I won't be at the Classic even though I might like to "one day"

I AIM to be at the "real" 24 though, searching down the back of seat cushions on sofas and armchairs in earnest for the next few months to help the finances...

I've lots of friends to catch up with after missing a year or two. Babies heads to wet and all sorts of things.

I really do wish we could have had Midget 50 on another weekend :(
