Thought some might enjoy this tribute to Mr. Jenkins.

Larry. Thanks for that. I hope the film makes it to this side of the pond.
I see at the end of the piece, it mentions Wing commander Andy Green and ThrustSSC getting up to 763MPH. Well, he and Richard Noble are at it again with their "Bloodhound" project, aiming for 1000MPH.
The car uses a combination of rocket and jet engines. I recently went to a presentation where Richard Noble and Andy Green were present, also a real live rocket scientist gave a talk on the technicalities and problems they had encountered. Of course he did it in laymans terms.
I look forward to future developements.
BTW. I triggered a speed camera on the way home. It must have been something to do with that rocket scientist!

Bernie,

Yes, I do not see many films but would like to see this one. With all of the good footage of MG's at the "Flats" wonder if any will make the cut?

Cannot imagine the aerodynamics to keep a vehile on the ground at the speeds "Bloodhound" is hoped to reach, but then I don't know how they did it with Thrust-SSC either!
