MG Midget and Sprite General - cap for my clutch master
Just finishing off the job of uprating my clutch. Whilst doing this I decided to tidy up under the bonnet. Jesus wept that cost some dosh! bought new silcone hoses for everywhere, few elbows 2 or 3 sizes of straight pipe total cost a staggering 140 quid!! Anyway I hope that has told the story of my hardupness! (if the yanks can invent new words then so can I) Well I rooted around in all my cupboards and found 2 new master cylinders a brake and a clutch which I fitted (They look nice) however just one problem I am a master cylinder cap short, so does anyone have a spare master cylinder cap? not the small one but the large ones from the later cars.

Large ones? You mean a plastic or a metal cased version? I have a couple of the smaller ones, 1" diameter roughly from a 1972 car. Any chance of a pic of the actual M/C?

Bob, I used my spare brake cyl. cap for my ezy bleed! I think they are going the way of Ausin Sprite badges!! You may have to buy a core" on ebay. I hope you watch wasn't taken stateside. We have a bad enough reputation without that added. Ring me up on your next visit. Phil
