Last year I caught no less than a dozen mice (in traps) inside my garage. Much to be said about having a good cat available, which we no longer have. After closing up many small openings around the doors, this year only two. No problems with wasps, or bees so far this year.

Many years ago, we purchased our B/GT from a neighbor who passed. The car had been sitting for nearly five years. Fortunate for the car, and me, she had several sacks of sun flower seeds (for birds) in her garage. The mice built many nests (similar to Mr. Harris's) throughout the car, and it took weeks to clear them all out. The most interesting was inside the exhaust system from the tail pipe (through 2 mufflers) to the engine header pipe. The good news, they did not harm a single wire, or any upholstery!

Had them eat through a wiring loom and seatbelt on a daily driver once! Ghastly things - keep outdoor cats to keep them away (haven't seen them for awhile though!!!)

If you don't want mice work on the car outside, never had any wildlife issues.

We all have a "mouse story": When I was rebuilding my Midget I got dozens of coin bags from the bank to keep small bits and pieces in [largely because they were free]. Put them in a draw in the garage. Some time later [OK ... years I admit it] pulled out a completely shredded pile of plastic like candy-floss and a muddled up pile of bits in the bottom. Mice had raised several families in their "Barclays" bedding...
