MG Midget and Sprite General - B*LL*CKS !!!!!!!

Been a good boy today. Changed the starter motor, managed to get the footwell bung back in, reset the timing after refitting the dizzy, washed all the icelandic dust off it, did the whole car with clay and HiDef wax, hoovered the inside and the boot. Cleaned all the inside trim, blacked the tyres.

Stood back to admire it before going out for a run - just as it started to rain!!!! B*LL*CKS!!!

More rain forecast for tomorrow.

Great thread title!! goes with Midgets so well. I spent the day stripping and re building my carbs. Did a few mods and a bit of polishing. Six hours of tooth brush work and fiddling. On final assembly I discovered I had lost the little screw thing that secures the choke cable to the mechanism. Not to be put off by this I managed to fire it up with right had on the carbs left hand turning the key. First time fire up and off down the road for a test drive and an ice cream. 2 miles down the road the chrome sill trim fell off. Will it ever end!!!
