Thanks Andrew, but I prefer to think that they can't, just as I prefer not to think of that steering column.
Incidentally, a MG Magnette driver put it heavily into the wall on the weekend. Steering column broke his sternum, steering wheel went up under his full face and opened up his chin. Car destroyed, along with several others over the course of the weekend. But I'm bustin my ass to get back there again and do it better.
