MG Midget and Sprite General - Autosolo (Midget 50)

Hi Everyone
The MGCC Lincolnshire Centre are hosting an Autosolo event at East Kirkby Airfield, Lincolnshire on Saturday June 11th 2011 as part of the pre-attraction of the Midget50 event at Burleigh House the following day.

The event has already attracted teams from Ireland but there is room for more participants.

An autosolo is like an autotest but only has a forward direction. Our course is about 2/3rd of a mile and will be guranteed great fun, spectacle and enjoyment.

East Kirkby airfield is adjacent to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre (http://www.lincsaviation.co.uk) where a WW2 Lancaster Bomber will be taxying down the runway. A truly awesome sight.

Would certainly push this hard as last year was the first time I'd been and it was a fantastic day full of great sport and made some fantastic friends.

If you can make it - please do come along. It will be a fantastic pre-midget50 day and, if you all remember, many of you did want some sport as part of the celebrations. Lincs kindly stepped into this role and invited us to join in with them - moving the event from the traditional Sunday so that people could do both.

Hmmm. Where there are Lancs there are usually Spitfires....

Would love to come along but I think we'll be travelling down later in the day.
