MG Midget and Sprite General - anybody got my old midget

Geoff, if it had changed its reg no, it would not give any details on a search. It will say "vehicle details not found"

Geoff, My Midget has a different reg. number to when it was first registered (a "personalised" one) and it shows up on the vehicle enquiry with full details.

Yours could still be out there on a different plate.

I don't know how you could go about finding it though!

Are you saying that your car is showing on the DVLA website with its original number or the new one?

My "B" has had three previous numbers.

Two of them - of the ABC123W type - do not show up on the DVLA database.

The other - something like 1234MG - is still "live", but not on my car.

Dave, My Midget's current, non original, reg. number, in the MG 1234 format, shows up correctly on the DVLA enquiry page.

The original number, of the ABC123W format, gives the "not found" output.

Geoff searched on the original number which is giving a result - albeit that it hasn't been on the road since '97.

As such, it won't be on the road under another identity, or the original number wouldn't give a result.
