MG Midget and Sprite General - Another Strange Hardtop
I've never seen one like it before. Has anyone else? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180645881992

Well I have because I own one exactly the same. However that is the only other one I have seen. The one I have has been butchered to put a window in the roof area.

It really looks like an adaptation of the Ashley top made for the Spitfire. I've looked through all of my Ashley ads and I can't see a Spridget version of the same however Tim may well know different

hello, sadly been too busy for fun like the bbs recently :o( I reckon this looks like a Spitfire SAH / Fibrepair hardtop adapted to fit a spridget - I understand these were manufactued by Fibrepair for Sprinzel's outlet and that Fibrepair were just round the corner from him in Lancaster Mews. There is a car with a similar hardtop in Germany Full details here: http://www.williamsandpritchardregister.co.uk/GAW375D.htm
