MG Midget and Sprite General - am i getting hacked thur E-mail...

I know this isnt midget related, but you guys seem to be up on top of this stuff

I just got a 4th email from this woman, I dont know who she is, or what she is up to and each time its just 2-3 letters/digits long. I cant seem to figure out how to block her thur the email program im having use

BTW.. I still cant get (idiot) mediacom to fix my email, so Im still on the mediacom email thats like yahoo email...could this be mediacom trying to do there job, the mediacom suffix is (Mchsi.com) differant from the one listed below.

Prop, you'll figure out pretty soon to just delete any e-mails that either have a subject line that doesn't mean anything to you. Let's face it, your friends will put in a subject line that makes sense, if it doesn't then just delete it. Opening the e-mail does leave your computer vulnerable to some virus programs or other bad things. If you don't open it your exposure potential is much less. You can't block all the spam, but that doesn't mean you have to open it when it does come through.
You haven't won any money or been left an estate by your long lost uncle in Nairobi so no need to open those, and your bank and credit card company won't ask you for information confirmation on line either.

Thanks Bill,

I wasnt aware of that but have always wondered if that was possiable, So looks likme I need to do some research into other (Safer) email programs as I use my one and only for sending and recieving work bids, on-line investing friends, poolitical friends and other on line stuff...So I do get alot of email from people I dont know, from time to time.

Im guessing Ive just been lucky so far, this stuff is almost out of control, it seems theres a new way everyday with tech to get the shaft.
