MG Midget and Sprite General - 1961 Driving Tests NMC
Here is how it used to be done.... http://www.eafa.org.uk/catalogue/214131
Doug Plumb
Marvellous! I love the understeer on the Dellow, and the idiot going the wrong way round the cone only t demolish the side barrier :-)

The blurb underneath... "a pair of vintage sports cars (one driven by a woman)" A woman! Scoff! How un lady like! It was obvious she was going to get it wrong! ha ha! Check out the closeups of those tortured front tyres. Sooo much positive camber under heavy turning. Crazy. Cheers, Malcolm

Malcolm The two car you refer are Dellows, more suited to Production Car Trials than Autotesting.. Great bit of footage though. That poor TR getting used and abused by all and sundry... :-) Mark.
M T Boldry
standard production saloons made me laugh as did the chap who put his arm in the air then messed up slightly and yes I'd struggle with a course as simple as that too I'd have probably hit the people too TRs seemed heavy and slow without the comedic value of the other
Nigel Atkins
Come in those last two, your times are defintely up. lol.
Lawrence Slater
Seeing the A40 in that reminds me of my first Autotest in one at Wethersfield airbase. Trev
T Mason
How quaint to see the gents competing in jackets and ties. Great footage, thanks! -:G:-
Gryf Ketcherside
Even better, I'm sure the bloke in the Herald has a fag clamped firmly between his gritted teeth! Great stuff!
Matt1275Bucks
For some reason I was unable to get it to play, any ideas of the problem? TIA
JK Dunn
