MG Midget and Sprite General - 1954 MG TF
Like I don't have enough to work on, I have been offered a 54 MG TF minus motor and trans. I would love to get this car and set it aside for a later project but I don't think I'll live long enough to do the ones I have now.

Bad timing I guess. My favorite styled MG of them all and just what a hot rodder like me would love to start with. If I had one offered to me I'd find a way.

I like that model also but, and there's always a but, we recently purchased a 1959 Ford Anglia - some assembly required. The car's been totally taken apart and needs to be reassembled. But first I have to get rid of the superficial rust, weld in two new pieces of sheet metal, paint it and then I can start figuring out the jigsaw puzzle of pieces. The TF would get a newer engine and trans, nothing radical, just something drivable and dependable.

Yeah, the car is in Tenn. The guy wants $1000.00 for it, and will bring it to Maine for me. I told my wife, and she just looked at me, and said nothing. That nothing speaks volumes.

you surely can't pass up a bargain like that.
