| That's nice. Yes not at all common. Curiously in our local MGCC natter, there are 4 of them. 2 or 3 of which are on the road. Roly

| how about this for a D type (not just D) ;) I am pretty sure most midget owners do not know the roots of their car! Starting with the old M type midget. But unlike manny think not the 50/60's but the 30's where the glory day's for MG with the MMM cars (Midget's Magna's and Magnette's) Yes the sold less but in technology and sporting sucsesse where massive!

| Onno that's not a D; the door tops are horizontal on a D type, your pic is more like a J2 |

| Anorak donned ! I think that is a J1, the 4-seater version of the J2. Notice the cut-away door - D-type is horizontal. Keith |

| David - you should know better! I bought your J1 all those ago for restoration. Did most of the mechanical restoration and then unfortunately, circumstances dictated that I sell it Keith |

| J2's have suicide doors so that it certainly is not J1 might indeed be correct I just looked at the door hinge side and clearly totaly missed the door/body line! It is clear why i wear glasses then ;) |
