MG Midget and Sprite General - 138DMO resurfaced

just found this:

http://www.racecarsdirect.com/listing/25138/MG_MIDGET_138_DMO_Historic_race_car.html

and

www.138dmo.co.uk

be interesting to see the provenance when the website is finished. I guess it will be for sale at Bonham's in a year or two for some crazy figure....
David Smith

the 138 website has been posted here before

Nice to see those kind of cars surface i just hope it will be used and not just displayed!
To much have disappeard in to private collections
The chance of for example seeing an R-type race has decrease enormously since one went to Germany 2 jears ago.
It realy is a shame

??????????From the racecarsdirect listing:

"A new web-site has been launched www.138dmo.co.uk This web-site is here to tell the true story of this famous car's long and involved history. (The site also contains many other interesting racing MGs owned and raced by Julius Thurgood). This car is now owned by Julius Thurgood and is not for sale."

Then why's it on racecarsdirect?

Answrs on £20 note, it's a rhetorical question used ironically.......

Contrary to the belief of some and claims made by some books our friend Dennis is a mine of information about Spridgets. I have just read what Dennis has to say about this vehicle and it makes interesting reading, hopefully dennis will write it up in safety Fast!

Much more interesting than their website.
