Austin-Healey Sprite - windscreen installation

I have a 64 Sprite and it came with a new windscreen and the old one out of the frame. I have been told that the frame is supposed to be in four pieces and mine is all one piece. Does anybody out there have any idea just what I can do to make this right? I have tried for several hours to fit this new glass but there is no way! Thank you, Greg Ferguson
