Austin-Healey Sprite - instruments

In my early 1958 frogeye I have strange instruments, All of them are Jaeger. The centre circle on the dials of the mechanical rev counter and speedometer are not painted aluminium colour but they have ribbed concentric circles to the same diameter as the painted ones. The fuel gauge, temp and oil pressure gauge are virtually identical to the Smiths parts. So Why are mine different to other frogeyes , if they are from another type of car what would it be ?

I think you will find they are from a Midget MK1 IIRC they had the moreupmarket Jaeger instruments,
