Austin-Healey Sprite - Frogeye wing beadings
| Hi All, I have a query regarding Frogeye wing beadings. Are they straight or slightly curved down to the front side lights. ( but straight down under the lamps) ? I'm in the middle of a full restoration and the subject is bugging me. The trouble is that all the fibreglass bonnets seem to have straight beading and are purported to have been moulded from a "perfect" steel bonnet. Well, having looked at quite a few original cars some are straight, but most are a bit curved like mine..however mine has had a shunt in the front a some time so may have not been repaired properly. Also if looked at from the rear the beadings for the rear wings on all cars seem to have a slight curve in, so was a curve intended at the front.?? Keith Baigrie |

| The beading is the same all around the car. This has a slight curve to it. MGB's use the same beading, and it from this source that I was able to obtain some during my recent restoation. |
