Austin-Healey Sprite - Electric Fuel Pump

I'm trying to decide on a Carter P4070 (rotary vane) vs a Facet Posi-flow solenoid-type pump.

I have a Weber DGV carburetor which I understand does better with the Carter pump, but the Carter draws 4.5 amps vs 1.6 for the Facet. I can barely keep the headlights lit with the generator now.

Any thoughts on the relative advantages of the two? Both are maximum 4 psi.
