Austin-Healey Sprite - 75 Midget vs 65 Bugeye
| I currently own a 75 Midget which runs fine. I was never ok with the rubber bumpers, but I liked the 1500 engine. I have the opportunity to swap it pretty much even for a 65 bugeye with a 59 nose. Neither car is in fantastic shape - both are driveable as is and decent looking. They both could use some work. I'm curious to hear some opinions. |

| If you post on the midget and sprite board I am sure you will get loads of advice and comments. Personal view is that there is no choice - it has to be a bug every time. However there is no such thing as a 65 bugeye they stopped making them in 61. Guess you have a 65 Sprite (mk III) or midget (mk II I think)with a bug nose. For me the mix of mk II rear and frog front does not work but again there are lots ov views abound. |
