Austin-Healey 3000 - Turn signals

A British mechanic friend said that he seems to remember a tech article that explained how to replace the direction indicator relay unit internals with modern relays. Does anyone know how to access this info?

I have not seen anything that I remember over the last few years in the AHCA club magazine.I have Norman Nock's teck book of articles, and nothing in there about it, just checking the original unit. You may try David Nock at British Car Specialists in Stockton, California.

I have a circuit that uses 2 pairs of commonly available automotive relays in Europe, and have emailed it to Robert directly.

I used it for a Willys Jeep, so don't know if the relays will fits inside the old Lucas unit; it's possible that they could.
